From there we build and maintain your Cudgel Home Profile — a living record of your home’s systems, equipment, model numbers, shutoff locations and complete service history. We document what we do, what we find, and what we’re watching, so nothing gets forgotten between visits.

Home Care Visits include scheduled maintenance first. Remaining included visit time may be used for eligible Cudgel List repairs. Gutter cleaning covers first-level gutters and downspouts. Materials, higher elevations and larger repairs are quoted separately.

How much does a home maintenance plan cost in St. Louis?
Cudgel Home Advantage plans start at $99 per month for Essential (2 visits per year), $199 per month for Plus (4 visits per year), and $399 per month for Concierge (12 visits per year). There are no contracts and you can cancel anytime.
Is there a contract or cancellation fee?
No. There are no contracts and no cancellation fees, and you can cancel anytime. We’re confident you’ll stay because the work speaks for itself, not because you signed something.
What’s actually included in a Home Care Visit?
Each visit covers scheduled preventative maintenance across six areas: air and HVAC, plumbing and water, safety and electrical, doors and windows, interior, and exterior and seasonal items. Once that’s complete, your remaining included time goes toward eligible repairs on your Cudgel List.
What is the Cudgel List?
The Cudgel List is your running list of small repairs and annoyances — a loose handle, a sticking door, failed caulk, a running toilet. You add to it whenever something bugs you, and we work through it using the included time left after your scheduled maintenance.
What happens on the first visit?
Your membership begins with a Home Health Assessment. We document your home’s important systems, existing conditions and maintenance needs to establish a baseline, then build your Cudgel Home Profile so nothing gets forgotten between visits.
Are materials and parts included?
Routine consumables such as standard filters, batteries and caulk are included. Specialty items, larger materials and major repairs are quoted separately, so there are no surprises on your bill.
Do you clean the gutters?
Yes — first-level gutters and downspouts are cleaned as part of your scheduled visits, typically in spring and again in fall. Second-story and hard-to-reach gutters need different equipment, so we quote those separately rather than rushing them inside a maintenance visit.
What if I need a bigger project, like a remodel?
Larger work — remodeling, insurance restoration and major repairs — is handled by our sister company, Cudgel Construction & Restoration. Same team, same standard. Just ask your technician.
